If it’s not obvious from the photos, we had an absolute blast at our wedding all thanks to sound society!! we were fortunate enough to find SSB who were available a year out after our band we initially had booked backed out, which was a blessing in disguise. Amber, who was our MC and band manager, was exceptional to work with - very organized, kind and FUN! Guests are still talking about our wedding and complementing our band saying they are one of the best bands they have heard play at a wedding.

We decided to have our band play all of our dances rather than the DJ’d version and many guests raved thinking it wasn’t live because it was that incredible. The band truly knows how to read the room and adjust accordingly making sure all of our guests had music that fit the vibe of the night, not a single guest left the dance floor the entire night which is a sign of a great band. When the dance floor opened guests FLOODED the floor, not missing a single second. The owner of our venue even complimented how talented SSB are and that we may have been the best wedding of the year.

We highly recommend them to anyone searching for their wedding band, you will not be disappointed!! Thank you again for an unforgettable night with our favorite people and traveling to amish country!!

Sound Society made our wedding next level. Not only that, Hannah - the band producer, was instrumental in helping me with the planning stages of our wedding. We did a wedding at home and brought in all the vendors and Hannah made amazing suggestions and perfected our timeline. She basically did the whole run of show.

As far as the music and the customization - WOW. They blew us away. The details and the ability for us to tell the band exactly what we love and what our tastes were really made this feel like a special experience for us. And they are SO organized. The band even agreed to an epic "double" last song of the night and brought the house down. People were on the dance floor all night!

Sound Society was so professional and hit the mark in literally every single category. They performed a string duo during our ceremony it was incredible and had people in tears. The cocktail hour music was so fun and they did a great job staying in line with our tastes.

We also had a lot of little tiny customizations that the band went above and beyond to make happen for us. 10/10 would recommend this band to ANY ONE ANY TIME ANY WHERE. They are the real deal. I also can't stress enough how at ease I felt with the whole process because I knew were were in AMAZING hands.

We were married a week ago and I still have guests coming up to me to rave about the instrumentals and the vocalists. They're just THAT good.

Investing in Sound Society was the best decision we made for our wedding. Their vast repertoire, willingness to learn a handful of songs (from scratch!) for you, and commitment to no breaks between songs is what sets them apart from other wedding bands — and that’s before even talking about their outstanding talent. They understood the vibe of our wedding, were as hyped as anyone to be there, and are still talked about among our friends and family; any time someone mentions our wedding, they undoubtedly use the phrase “and that BAND!” If you want live music at your wedding, this is the best investment you can make.

When we were looking to plan our wedding our number one concern was that the music would be good and that folks would spend the entire night on their feet and dancing. If this is you then look no further than Sound Society. We had the opportunity to hear them live at a showcase and were blown away by their enthusiasm, craft and wide repertoire. They also had the ability to play songs in Spanish which was crucial for our wedding.

Working with Hannah was an absolute delight. She brought the right energy, attention to detail and overall guidance that we needed to feel secure that everything would go smoothly the day of. She worked closely with us to ensure that our first dance and parent dances went smoothly and even edited/dubbed over some song lyrics so that they fit a first dance better.

Our guests had an absolute blast, we had folks from all age ranges spending hours on the dance floor dancing the night away. The DJ for the after party was also a part of Sound Society and he did a fantastic job working with us to ensure he'd play some of our must have wedding songs.

Consistently the #1 feedback we've received from guests is how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. We can confidently recommend Sound Society for anybody who's considering them.

Sound Society was INCREDIBLE. From the very first time we saw them at a showcase in NYC, to working with Hannah throughout the planning process, to the day-of, it was all so amazing. Hannah was a joy to work with and truly made us feel heard and kept us organized. She reassured us and provided guidance when we felt lost. She accommodated our requests and made it very fun throughout the entire process. One of the least stressful (and most fun!) parts of planning the wedding, hands down.

And the band.... wow. The band was incredible. They took our suggested songs into account and completely controlled the evening. The dance floor was consistently packed thanks to their energy and setlist, and our guests had an incredible time.

Sound Society played our wedding earlier this month and they were amazing! They nailed every aspect of the music from cocktail hour and processional music through the reception until the very last note, everything was great. They brought such a fantastic energy that kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. They played a great set list with range from wedding classics to more recent chart toppers. Hannah was so great to work with leading up to the wedding planning all the details.

Overall, we were absolutely obsessed with our wedding band. They exceeded our expectations in every way and provided a memorable, high-energy performance that our guests are still raving about. The NYC Sound Society team was so fun, so professional and so easy to work with and their music/vocals are incredible. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them, they definitely kept the party going all night and our guests (even the non-dancers) on the dance floor.
