I truly don’t know where to begin! I will start by saying if you are deliberating between NY Jukebox and another band, please don’t be foolish and hire NYJ!!! Planning a wedding can be so stressful, and so many vendors lack solid communication, but that is not the case with Vinny, Pam and the rest of the band. My husband and I found NYJ on the knot when we began our planning. We sent an inquiry and Vinny was in touch with us the same day to help us start planning. Through the planning process, Vinny was always accessible and answered any questions we had in a timely manner.

Now as far as their talent….. INCREDIBLE!!! Our top priority was that our guests never got off the dance floor and NYJ DELIVERED. Vinny is a top tier guitarist, and Pam and Justin’s vocal abilities are unmatched. All night at our wedding, our guests were raving about how good the band was. In the days following the wedding, people around town who weren’t even at the wedding were saying how they heard how awesome the band was!

I could go on and on all day about how great they were. If you want to throw an epic rager for a wedding, look no further!

NY Jukebox was fantastic at our wedding last month. From start to finish, Pam was great to work with. It was easy to pick songs from their set list and they even learned three new songs of our choice. The ceremony songs were flawless, the saxophone/guitar duo for the cocktail hour was perfect for the venue/vibe and the hybrid ensemble (2 singers, guitar, sax, DJ) was better than we could have imagined. Our dance floor was packed the whole night! We got married at The River Cafe in downtown Brooklyn which is a smaller venue with strict requirements for band size, song volume etc. NY Jukebox did a great job accommodating all of the requirements and at the same time put on a stellar show. We would definitely recommend NY Jukebox for any party, wedding or otherwise.

Vinny, Pam, and the rest of the 10-piece band did a stellar job keeping our guests on their feet from start to finish, riding the emotional waves that a wedding brings, and ensuring that the crowd was constantly entertained. Leading up to our wedding, Vinny was always happy to jump on a call to discuss logistics, song selection, and our tastes, and made us feel that our wedding was a priority - not just another event on NYJ's calendar. Importantly, every interaction we had with NYJ was kind and constructive. They want you to be happy!

NYJ will ask about your general likes and dislikes and will customize a setlist that is geared toward your event. All of their hard work and prep was on full display at our wedding. Vinny and NYJ even learned one song in Portuguese as a special surprise for some of our guests - if that isn't dedication, client service, and talent, I'm not sure what is. Their abilities are off the charts - our guests are still reaching out to tell us how awesome the band was.

We went to a few showcases while searching for a band to play our wedding, and what stuck out to us about NYJ is that the band regularly plays together and is a cohesive unit, with managers who are actually in the band, as opposed to individual musicians who get booked out piecemeal by some distant management company to play events. Another bonus was that NYJ played our cocktail hour, reception, and 90 minute after party - and each event showcased different musicians. Not all bands have the bandwidth or ability to entertain for so long, but NYJ does.

We loved having the opportunity to hear NYJ play in NYC a few times during our engagement, and we can't wait to go to their next show and fondly remember the best night of our lives. Go check them out and see/hear it for yourself!

The best band there is!! We’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live in NYC as well as for our wedding. Not only are they the most talented ensemble, but they are absolutely wonderful to work with and made our special day even better. From start to finish they threw the BEST party, performing classics and new hits, no one could dance enough. They created the most beautiful ceremony ambience followed by cocktail hour and reception. NY Jukebox knows how to throw a party!!! The band is super talented, professional, and stylish on stage, and they made our wedding special and grand! Finding the right band was essential to us as my partner and I have eclectic taste in music. I was recommended Pam's band by Bill McGoldrick, who was in a duo with her years ago when she was at Berklee. I was impressed by their website and reached out about a hybrid band, and the rest is history! Pam was extremely communicative, adapted to our ideas/song choices with ease and comfort, and cared for what I was looking for. Wedding planning can be stressful (no surprises), but Pam was open to all the last-minute changes, and I am so appreciative of that. Pam and Vinny's band understood our non-generic musical preferences. They played a great combination of songs from their original setlist and learned a few songs just for us, including Mac Miller and Daft Punk! They had us and our friends dancing the entire night, making for a fantastic experience.

Pam is confident, experienced, and handles logistics like a pro — everyone in the band was so lovely to speak to on the day of. I recommend NYJukebox to anyone looking for a high-energy, dynamic, and unique band with a fantastic vibe. Between Pam's stellar voice, Vinny's impressive guitar playing, Chauncey's moves and Kaz's brilliant saxophone playing, I don't know if there is anything more to ask for. Our wedding was intercultural, and the DJ incorporated bhangra beats into some songs, which was EVERYTHING. Thank you, NY Jukebox, for making the day so special for us — hearing you play Futile Devices by Sufjan during the ceremony made my heart skip a beat. Hope to catch you all lighting up the night somewhere in NY soon!
