As someone approaching 50, I had never learned to play a musical instrument. After several unsuccessful years of trying to teach myself to play the guitar, I wondered whether I had any musical talent at all. When I made the decision to take up the saxophone, I knew I wanted a teacher with the skills and experience to help me reach my goals. Judyta is very professional, easy to talk to, and I look forward to every one of our practice sessions. Her confidence allows me to constantly ask a barrage of questions, each week, without her getting frustrated, intimidated, or insulted. Her patience and encouragement allow me to progress at my pace. The lessons focus on establishing a strong foundation in the fundamentals, are not strictly regimented by any one particular book, and are fun. I have already learned so much and I look forward to the journey ahead. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an teacher.

Judyta is a very knowledgeable and experienced saxophone player. She was very patient with me, an adult beginning player. She provided appropriate lesson material and helped me understand how to practice effectively. She found new pieces that matched my interests and gave me tips for playing things I found difficult at first. My favorite times were when we played duets. When she moved to another state she found another teacher for me. I was sorry to see Judyta go but am satisfied with the new teacher.

Judyta is not only a great teacher but a very talented musician in the classical and jazz realm on saxophone and clarinet. She is easy to work with and flexible when catering to the students needs. Judyta Murzyn is an absolutely fantastic teacher. She had the patience to talk to me initially about my desire, to play beautiful classical and contemporary music. She rapidly assessed my skills, and started to guide my efforts: equipment, tone, technique, articulation, basic musical knowledge. Her efforts had to deal with my impatience and boundless enthusiasm. A major part of our interaction is her willingness to share her playing with me, to demonstrate the intent of her teaching. I would urge interested potential students to listen to her recordings on YouTube. They are a magnificent demonstration of her skills and personality, suggest Glazunov Saxophone Concerto.

I never had the chance to learn to play the saxophone before. I went online and found out about Judyta's class. It was a quick session which lasted around 3 months and I am able to gain all the basic skills in playing the saxophone and also I am now able to play a few songs by myself. Judyta's teaching approach is based on the student goals instead of a book or a curicullum which makes it fun and interesting.

Judyta is a great music teacher, she was very patient with me, a beginner just starting to learn the alto saxophone. I would and have recommend Murzyn Music to anyone who is trying to better themselves through music.
