Maggie Speaks is the best wedding band in the country!!!

The whole process from initial inquiry to wedding day was so smooth!

We were able to add on a stage to our contract at a later date when we saw it could fit into our budget.

Choosing songs was such a fun part of the process! Their song list is extensive - there is nothing they cannot play!

The vocalists are top notch! Each one is unique and they come together to cover every genre of music you could think of!

The band leader was able to be an MC as well - they announced everything from the speeches to special dances.

They read the room throughout the night and every musician on stage gives so much energy, so there was absolutely no lull on the dance floor! It was constantly packed as they were engaging with the guests the whole time!

Anyone who is conflicted between a DJ and a Band - the band is always worth it! It is 100% a full concert experience.

We had many people say our wedding was “the wedding of the century” and I have to give most of the credit to Maggie Speaks!

We got married this past August in Lake Geneva, and our first call after booking our venue + date was to Dave with Maggie Speaks. I've worked with Dave previously for charity events, and he so generously plays at the Mulliganeers St. Pat's Party every March which is where my husband and I first met. We knew how special it would be to have his band play at our wedding, and are so grateful he made the trip in from Arizona for it too!

We had extremely high expectations for our wedding band – almost unreasonable – and somehow Maggie Speaks blew them out of the water. We took them up on their master of ceremonies offering, and also also added on a string trio to play at our cocktail hour, which was so nice to consolidate vendors for. They gave us such an extensive lists to work with and after we went through and picked some of our favorites, we left it in their capable hands to do their thing.

From the first note that they emitted from the stage to the final strum of the guitar, the dance floor was PACKED. They really made the set list feel like our own personal playlist that made the night so special – people are still talking about how much fun our dance floor was, and how they've never seen a wedding dance floor like that before. We even added extra time and loved how they brought this up with us in advance as something to consider.

There are a lot of choices to make for your wedding band, but we will never forget the environment of that dance floor the night of our wedding because of Maggie Speaks, and we couldn't imagine the night without them. They played hit after hit, kept the energy up the entire night, and even sprinkled in some personal touches for songs along the way. We are so impressed with how they continuously raise the bar at the events they play at, and would 10/10 recommend you use them!

Maggie Speaks is exceptional. Our guests were blown away by their talent, energy and variety of songs they were able to perform. Our guests did not leave the dance floor and are still talking about how incredible they were days later! We had the pleasure of using Maggie Speaks for our charity event held in early March 2024. In the 47 years of doing this, I can't imagine there being a party atmosphere like with the group created with their performance. The dance floor was packed for the full time they played.
