This is my 2nd time doing this class, I can easily say it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had in NYC. I think of it as School of Rock for grown ups and it is so much fun! All the staff and musicians are unbelievably supportive/helpful/non-judge-mental/friendly amazing people. I’ve made great new friends while doing what I love and never thought I would be able to do in this lifetime! 5 incredible ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘S and I recommend this to anyone who wanted to be in a band but didn’t-for whatever reason. This is an opportunity for you to do it and fulfill that part of you that wishes you had went there! Musicians ROCK, you’ll have an amazing experience! See you soon!

I have been doing workshops here for over 5 years. During this time I have gained unprecedent growth of my guitar and bass playing, and especially my vocal abilities. Equally, if not more valuable, are the great friendships I have made here. I would recommend these band workshops to any rock musician who wants to rehearse with other musicians leading to a legit performance opportunity at a real venue (The Bitter End). I have received Incredible value for my investment.

It's everything a musician could ask for. The knowledgeable, friendly staff provides spacious rehearsal rooms, professional gear, super talented coordinators, showcase nights at well known clubs, and of course, great people to play with. You don't have to think about anything but the music. Can't say enough about it. If you sing or play an instrument, you need to check out Join-A-Band NYC.

Join-a-Band is a life-changing experience. It's a great program for experienced and inexperienced musicians alike. Rehearsals are efficient and fun. Performances are amazing! A great group of people.

A very rewarding experience, masterfully curated by Bob, Andy, and team. I’ve now done 7 workshops and become a much better player in a short period of time. I’ve also had an amazing amount of fun, made new friends, and many great memories.

It is a shared experience at Music Makers. Whether you are in a solo sesh or group sesh the staff is more then willing to help out with any requests, rooms are spacious aD clean with an assortment of Drumkits, guitar and bass amps, pianos and mics, and a big plus the ACs work. You could also rent a bass or guitar if you don't have one, and there's also music workshops, a great way for you to learn or just jump back into what you love...Music...Check them out and try to book in advance ?
