The Irvine School of Music has been an incredible experience for my daughter, Sophia. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the amazing staff who are always friendly and supportive. A special shout-out goes to Anna, Sophia's violin instructor. Anna's passion for music and her dedication to her students is truly inspiring. Under her guidance, Sophia has not only improved her violin skills remarkably but has also developed a deeper love for music.

One of the standout aspects of The Irvine School of Music is its commitment to providing performance opportunities for its students. They host several concerts a year, allowing students to showcase their progress and talent. These events are beautifully organized and create a wonderful sense of community and accomplishment. Sophia has flourished with these opportunities, gaining confidence and stage presence with each performance.

I highly recommend The Irvine School of Music to anyone looking for a nurturing and high-quality music education. Thank you to the Irvine School of Music and Teacher Anna for making such a positive impact on Sophia's life!

We started our son when he was 3 with music fun time during the pandemic on zoom. We had a good course with Teacher Amanda who then had to leave for further studies. After that, we took a break and restarted piano lessons when he was 4. After a few months with his initial teacher, her schedule changed. Hence we were recommended to switch to another piano teacher. teacher K was impatient with my four year old and told him that " he cannot force him to practice at home but if he's not interested in piano, he has to tell his mom". I was sitting in the class. After a few months, we had a makeup class with Teacher O. He was engaging with my son so we switched to him. After a few months his teacher quit suddenly so we were recommended yet another piano teacher. The inconsistency in teachers and schedules were frustrating. Our next teacher was wonderful ( finally someone who wants to teach and not just a college music student ). Unfortunately he stopped working due to health issues. With our next teacher, I raised my frustrations with the Director this time and he promised me a more seasoned teacher who has been there for ten years and has a consistent schedule. However after a few classes, the teacher told me maybe my five year old was not interested and should consider something else. All I wanted was someone who can engage and show him the joy of music.

I was disheartened with the overall disorganized facility and lack of communication from staff. The lack of training for new incoming teachers was frustrating. They also failed to bill me for 9 months ( unknown to me) and someone from accounting called me in a panic one time.

I chose Irvine school of music initially because of its reviews and reputation. The good teachers are all very busy and hard to get in. After 3 years of trying to find a consistent music teacher, we left.

He is now with a private piano teacher and he says piano is one of his favorite lessons!

My son started as a piano student at Irvine school of music (ISM) in 2015. Mr. Cameron and his team consists of exceptional educators and front office staff. My son was leveled up with experienced teachers as he progressed. In the last 9 years, my son has advanced so much in his musical journey. I’m very grateful to ISM for supporting my son in the process. Also I want to point out that ISM staff are very detail oriented and do their due diligence for all the recitals and concerts.These collaborative events helps the students to showcase their talents. I highly recommend ISM to anyone who wants to become an accomplished musician.

My 5-year-old daughter joined the Music Fun Time that teaches fundamentals of music and allows students to explore different instruments. I was worried at first that my daughter would not enjoy any part of the lesson, but it turned out that she was focused and sat through the entire 30-min lesson! She has been attending for almost a year now, and she is looking forward to the lesson each week. She also had her first concert, and she was so happy to perform on stage. We are so just proud of her and very grateful of her teacher, Ms. Joey and the center staff and director who are always encouraging, patient, and supportive!!

We love ISM! My daughter's piano skills have grown so much more once we transferred to this studio when we moved from out of state. Her instructor Ms. Bernadette works so well with her, gives my daughter realistic expectations & even pushes her just enough to keep her on her toes. The staff at ISM are always so helpful & personable. Highly recommend sending your child here whether they're beginners or seasoned musicians.

Both my kids have been taking piano and violin here since 2020 and they've grown so much through the many recitals and opportunities this school offers. Plus we love the ability to have zoom lessons when we are traveling. I cannot recommend them enough!

This was my son's first ever performance and he had a wonderful experience with the Irvine School of Music! Everything was coordinated very nicely with every detail, the venue was great, the performances ran very smoothly and on time. And most importantly, my son, who had been very nervous, loved performing and can't wait to do it again.
