I came to service my guitar at the previous ownership. Found out now is a new ownership, and no service( maintenance) is provided because the store is on sale with crazy pricing all over with stickers advertising the prices!

If you’re going to advertise by mouth (because is what I asked the guy) you’re buying a music store because Jim’s music couldn’t pay the lease, and put pricing tags on all the items…. Then honor it!

Don’t take price tags and place them in the back of your packet! Such bait and switch!
So un- honest!!!

If you price them, them leave them. Don’t try to switch! At the register! You thieves!

I was looking around for a Boss Katana Air desk top amp. This place was 1 of 3 local shops that carried it and had it in stock. I was calling around checking prices and availability and noticed that one of the stores stood out far above the rest in service. I was very pleased with the help Melanie gave me. I was getting ready to leave my house and go pick it up when I received a return call from her saying they were having trouble finding it and I should wait for her to call back before coming in. 10 minutes later I got the call and she seemed excited to tell me she had located it. When I arrived, I was greeted by Charles who gave me the run down and let Melanie know I was there. She came right out, retrieved my item with big smiles, answered all my questions and invited me back. The service and energy in this place were upbeat and refreshing. I will be back for sure when it's time for a new guitar.

P.S. A little shout out for Nathan who said he played a big part in finding it right above her head. LOL

Bad place for beginners to come. I had a broken guitar string and the employees really wanted to help me with restringing, but weren't allowed to because of their manager Brian. Long time (10+ year) customer couldn't get helped properly because of manager so I will be going to another nearby store that allows their employees to properly help customers.

Until my son's Yamaha 650 clarinet was playing an octave off, I would never had gone out to find these guys. Let me say that a 650 is not something you want fixed by amateurs. Well these guys were 110% on it. A younger lady (Melody) took one look, said, she saw a missing pad, some damaged cook and a few loose items. 30 minutes later it was good as new and smooth as silk.

The wait was not bad, they have a very entertaining store with everything....yes everything...well maybe not a didgeridoo, but you get the idea....a lot of musical instruments and very friendly and helpful staff. They really made a positive impression. I would especially like to thank Melody (seriously that's her name) who hooked my up on the repairs. Super smart skilled girl with tools . I would highly recommend.

Side note: Prices appear to be competitive and they had a nice selection to choose from.

I've been coming here for a while, their selection is good and their staff is knowledgeable... however, Don the repair man is PHENOMENAL! He's setup or repaired just about all of my guitars and always does such a great job. Even though I don't live near the shop, I always travel out when my guitars need work because Don knows what he's doing and makes sure the guitars are playing their best. Thanks!

This place used to be called Jim’s Music under the previous ownership, and the staff were friendlier and more helpful. The new staff wasn’t as much. So sad they have closed the store down, was my favorite local guitar shop.

Place doesn't exist. Address took me to an alley, which served as a back staff entrance for the restaurants in the plaza on the otherside.
