Booking Funktastic for our wedding was the best decision ever! Mike & his team made the planning process so easy and stress-free. They were able to help us out with our timeline and have their own app to add song requests, which makes planning a breeze. They also worked seamlessly with our venue to coordinate day of logistics. We chose to book the violin + piano for the ceremony, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and dj + live sax for the reception. We had so many compliments on the music, and our dance floor was packed all night long!

Funktastic Productions LLC gave us the absolute best experience for our wedding day, starting with the setup process by Mike. Our MC, Amber, was fantastic in leading our jazz trio for cocktail hour and quartet for our dinner. Our guests absolutely raved about their performance and they catered the wedding songs just for us with multiple unique cover requests. Best of all, our first dance was performed in epic fashion and will give
ourselves and our family lasting memories. Oh, and not to mention the saxophonist who joined our DJ for the dance session! We'd highly, highly recommend Funktastic Productions for anyone looking for wedding entertainment!

Our dance floor was packed the whole night. Well worth the price, an absolute highlight of our celebration!

Amazing band experience! The music sounded incredible, they did an excellent job learning the new songs we requested (7 included), and they made sure to hit all of our priority songs. The dance floor was SO fun & the ceremony music was beautiful. The mid-set playlists were also excellent.

Our music taste is definitely different from the standard wedding fare, and we never felt like we had to fight to get our preferred our songs. They really understood what we were going for.

I cannot speak highly enough of Funktastic, they were instrumental (pun intended) in making our wedding reception incredible. Mike and Alysha were responsive from the first inquiry to the last song and approached the event with just the right combination of having my wife and I make the music align with our tastes while offering guidance when we hit a couple roadblocks. Their setlist is extensive and the ability to request a few songs not already included on it made the soundtrack to the night even more special (and they knocked those songs out of the park). The band members are extremely talented, and set the tone song after song for our guests that were rarely off the dance floor all night. Plus, they let my band and I fill in for a song and were gracious enough to let us borrow the instruments and equipment we needed. Alysha crushed it as the emcee and had no problem respectfully herding cats throughout the night during speeches, blessings, etc. You're in great hands with the Funktastic team!

We hired Funktastic Productions for our wedding reception, and they completely exceeded our expectations! We opted for their “hybrid DJ” service, which included a DJ, a saxophone player, and a drummer—and it was the best decision we made.

The combination of live instruments with the DJ created an incredible energy on the dance floor. The saxophone added a touch of elegance and soul, while the drummer brought an unbeatable rhythm that kept everyone dancing all night. They read the crowd perfectly, mixing songs that appealed to all generations, and kept the vibe fun and exciting from start to finish.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how unique and entertaining the music was, and we’re so grateful to Funktastic Productions for helping make our wedding reception unforgettable. If you’re looking for a DJ service that goes above and beyond, we highly recommend their DJ hybrid service—it’s worth every penny!

Funktastic were amazing! It’s been a month since our wedding and people are still complimenting them. They are top notch musicians of course, but what my bride and I were really impressed by was their impeccable professionalism throughout the entire process. Simply said, they are remarkably easy to work with. From the moment you begin working with them, it’s clear they want to make your day special. They provide you with an exhaustive song list for you to choose from, and on top of that they actively encourage you to pick songs for them to learn for you. So back to their musicianship, all I can say is “wow”! While we had a relatively small wedding, Funktastic made it feel like it was a full on dance party! So no matter what size your wedding is, Funktastic will supersede all of your expectations. Bonus tip: we got their jazz trio offering for our cocktail hour and they were amazing for that as well. Well worth it if you’re considering live music for that part of your wedding.

It’s been 2 months since my wedding and I still have no words… Funktastic is by far the best wedding band I’ve ever heard (and yes, I’m biased so take it from the nearly 30 guests that told us the same)! Mike was so fantastic to work with, answering all of my many questions and putting me at ease. Amber was so incredibly organized and beyond helpful in working with us to create the perfect setlist. And now the band… while I was referred to Funktastic by some friends and coworkers, the thing that really sold me was the energy that the band brings, the band members’ MANY masters degrees in jazz (like what, music theory is so hard!!), and their insane ability to captivate an audience with their talent. Our singers were some of the best that I’ve ever seen, putting in these incredible riffs and belts that is practically unfathomable. Our band members were so in sync, vibing off of each other and putting a unique spin on every song. Needless to say, if I have any excuse to book a band for an event, I will 100% come back to Funktastic.
