We booked Downtown Underground as our wedding band and they blew us (and our guests) away. Everything from the track list, vocals, energy and brass section was great. The dance floor was full all night. Would highly recommend!

We booked the Manhattan Soul Band and disco. They were very simply excellent. The communication prior was responsive, easy, kindly and very clear.

The band were professional and absolutely amazing. We had a mixed age crowd at our 50th birthday and all evening the dance floor was full. Totally full. From teenagers to octogenarians everyone was dancing, boogieing and strutting their stuff.

We have had so many comments after the party about how amazing they were and how much everybody had enjoyed the music. They made our do!

I cannot recommend this band enough. Thank you so much. X

We booked The Runaways for our wedding in late August and honestly we were so so happy with everything from start to finish. The booking process through Function Central was easy and the communication with the band in the lead up and on the day was amazing. The band were above and beyond, everyone was singing their praises all night and whenever we talk about the wedding, everyone comments on how good the band were. They got the guests involved, the song choices were amazing and they played our first dance song perfectly. Highly recommend and are very grateful for The Runaways.

We booked The Sweet and Lowdown for our wedding day and it was easily one of the best decisions we made. The band were absolutely fantastic – playing a great set of various genres and decades that kept all generations on the dance floor all night. We received so many compliments about the band from our guests. If you want to guarantee a great party, you need to book this band.

On top of all that, they were polite, punctual and professional. The build to a wedding day can be very stressful, but every interaction with Helen (band singer) was easy and smooth. They were receptive to a few specific songs we wanted them to play, whilst also offering recommendations about how best to tailor the set to our vision for the day.

Function Central made the booking process as smooth as possible. We could immediately look up bands that were available and within our budget, and watch their demos to see whether they were the style we were looking for. Beverley was an excellent contact throughout the run-up to the wedding, replying quickly to any questions or requests that we had. Highly recommend going through Function Central when planning a wedding day band!

Soneado were absolutely amazing. Sarah was great at communicating beforehand and totally understood what kinds of tracks were required.
The set up on the evening was efficient and professional. Every member of the band was so friendly and interacted so well with our dancers. Their performance was first class. Already booking them again for December.

Well, what can I say about the Crossfades and the service from Function Central when booking them!! We were looking for a band with a setlist that would bring the energy, playing 90s and early 00s indie but also some tunes for the older people. This band were so good at reading the room and playing to the crowd, their song selection was literally perfect. They sounded insanely good, even better than the you tube videos. We could not have asked for a more talented band. I (the bride) asked if they could learn a song as a surprise for my husband and the whole thing went so well, better than I could have imagined! It was so lovely to see my groom and his friends go crazy for the song and I was told it was the best version of "The Rat" ever by them all. Function Central were great to deal with and made everything very easy. The band themselves were a pleasure to speak to. I cannot recommend them highly enough even if I tried. Thank you for making our evening by amazing guys. Seriously. Thank you. 10 out of 10.

Rockit was the talk of the entire wedding. Most (if not all) of our wedding guests said I they were the best band they had ever heard! We couldn’t agree more and couldn’t have been happier! They were incredible! And the song choices were just perfect! And the medleys they sang! Every single detail about Rockit was just insane! Anthony called me a week or so before the big day to introduce himself and talk over everything and he was so sweet and fun! They smashed our first dance and sang the song we requested for the father daughter dance so so well. They are not just incredibly talented but so kind! I could not recommend Rockit more. Melody Avenue were absolutely fantastic! The dance floor was packed and lots of guests told us they were the best wedding band they’d seen. Micki is a great singer and the whole band brought lots of energy and fun. Highly recommend!
