Für Fans. Die Schauspieler nehmen ihre Rollen hervorragend ein, die Atmosphäre stimmt!
Aus der Gruppe heraus wird eine Person bestimmt, die als Zauberstab suchender Kunde interagiert. In unserem Fall war das ein Jugendlicher, der leider der englischen Sprache nicht mächtig war, woran die Vorführung dann ein wenig litt.
Leider hatten wir dadurch ein wenig das Gefühl, dass es nur darum geht, im direkt anschließenden Souvenirshop so viele Zauberstäbe wie möglich zu verkaufen.

Bei dieser Attraktion als einer der Olivanders Zauberstäbe getestet hat, im Zusammenhang mit der Musik und dem perfektem Ambiente, bekahm ich als Harry Potter Fan fast Tränen in den Augen.

Die Schauspieler haben die Rollen wirklich sehr gut gespielt und man fühlte sich hier, als wäre man selber bei Olivanders um seinen eigenen Zauberstab zu kaufen.

Einfach nur Hammer.

Dies ist nach Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey „die“ Attraktion des Parks, zumindest für die echten Harry Potter Fans.
Wer kein Harry Potter Fan ist, der kann diese Attraktion auslassen.
Ein großes Lob an die Mitarbeiter!!! Ihr macht hier einen tollen Job. Danke

If you want to experience the wand choosing experience with Ollivander himself, line up in the queue. The staff funnels about 10-12 people into Ollivander’s room. It is a small, dark room with no windows. So if you are claustrophobic, this ain’t for ya. Ollivander (well the actor) randomly picks one person to choose a wand. There is no rhyme or reason to the choosing. He goes through a cute demonstration with special effects. It all lasts less than 15 minutes if that. Then everyone is funneled into the wand shop.

The wand shop is loaded with wands. All of them in sturdy keepsake boxes. They have wands from characters from the HP and Fantastic Beasts movies. They have interactive and non interactive wands. But all sales are final even with the interactive ones. I suggest if you buy an interactive wand, immediately activate it on the spot to test it out right after purchase. That way if there are issues, you can address it immediately.

Another cool thing in the shop was the information sheets describing the characteristics of the different wand core material.

If you’re a big fan of the Harry Potter movie and want to experience what it’s like going to Ollivander’s and the whole wand choosing experience, you should definitely check out the integrative experience at Ollivander’s Wand Shop. Ollivander’s will request one person from your party and will help them choose a wand that is most suitable for them. The acting with impeccable and the effects were funny. After the experience, you’ll end up at the wand shop with an opportunity to purchase an interactive or non-interactive wand of your own.

At about 1pm on 12/11/2024, I was part of a group that saw actual magic at the wand shop. Our group watched a little girl walk up for a wand fitting and didn’t speak English. The cast member switched to the Spanish he could muster and transformed a room full of people into true believers. It was without question the most beautiful experience I have ever had at any theme park ever, we were in tears. Thank You! Keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks for making my son cry. This Ollivander's is so disappointing compared to Orlando. In Orlando, when we had a wand issue they repaired it and sent us on our way. My son isn't a big ride fan, but he LOVES doing all the magic spots many times over. So we fly to CA to visit family and went to Univeral to see their HP land. My son's wand is from Orlando where is had gotten chosen for his wand, so he loves his wand. It got a nick on the tip and wasn't working on, so we took it in to get repaired and they said they couldn't. He said there was nothing they could do. My son was so sad, that his wand couldn't get fixed and he couldn't do magic anymore.
Solution:
Fix the wand so people are happy, they spend more money when they are happy.

The wand ceremony was incredible. I got picked! The atmosphere was just like the books/movies. Once I purchased my wand, I went around doing the spells that are all around the area. It was a lot of fun and I still have my wand on display on a shelf.
