Gary (the owner) is the best! Such Aloha and so knowledgable about ukuleles. I upgraded mine that I had for 10 years, and got an Ohana ukulele from 951 Ukulele. There were other, more expensive ones I was considering, but Gary and my family heard me play the one I ended up settling on, and the sound is clear and beautiful. Getting the "sound" out of the ukulele strings can be a challenge. I'm not saying Gary will do this again (he might) but he even threw in a Ukulele strap for Free just my style, Pink with flowers! We even sat for about an hour and talked story, and just jammed. I also purchased a uke tuner. I can't wait until my next upgrade with Gary and 951 Ukuele! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! xoxo Tara Malia

I bought my first “real” ukulele from Gary at 951. It is a Kane’lea tenor and I love it. Gary has the best little ukulele shop ever. He is so knowledgeable and a really patient, kind, and caring person and he’s fun to hang out with! Go see him for all of your uke needs and happy strumming!

Had an informative time talking ukelele with Gary, and SHOPPING at 951 Ukelele. Good selection of available strings, and a nice selection of ukes. From beginners to high end; soprano to baritone and base, there is a good choice. Check out the fun Magic Flukes too. Also, ask about the DIY ukelele kits. Great if you want to personally customize your uke.

Wow, the 951 Ukulele Store is a rare gem that I found on 6th Street in Corona California. The store has a large array of the most beautiful ukuleles. Some of the ululeles are crafted with exotic woods which produce the most brillant tones. Gary, the owner, has a plethora of knowlege of the ukulele and its history. Lovely person to talk to about ukuleles. A must see and visit ukulele store in Corona.
