Very unfortunate. The doctor I was pleased with. But the staff is not even remotely up to snuff.

I had initial paperwork chrck-in issues. After completing everything online in advance, I was still forced to complete the same paperwork upon arrival.

Insurance info was not provided to a 3rd party testing provider. I wasted my own time tracking down the issue and resolving it.

Clinical infornation requested by my insurance company directly to the doctor's office was not provided, thus they could not approve a different test. ("We contacted the ordering physician's office requesting clinical information and have not received it.") I wasted time off work.

I called the physician's office on my day off to request everything be taken care of and maybe get an apology or at least an explanation. I was told to call back on Monday.

Very unfortunate. But I will have to find another provider. Patients should not be doing extra work or doing staff work for them.

Great dr which I may need after months of explaining to the billing department that to get paid they have to file a claim. Beginning to suspect fraud, because they won’t file with primary insurance, I can’t appeal. Insurance companies don’t like scams.

Dr Mekuria may not be an expert on my particular diagnosis (which is not strictly within the cardiology specialty — it only has a cardiovascular element), but she has been very open to working with me and referring me out to other specialists whenever necessary. She is kind and respectful of her patients. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mekuria and her team honestly run the best medical office I've ever visited. I felt compelled to write a review because of how great their service was. The staff is so polite and kindhearted. They all take time to listen to your problems, and give off the impression that they genuinely care about your wellbeing. If you are looking for a cardiologist who takes the time to listen to your history and to develop a plan of care that best suits your personal needs, this is the place to go. Dr. Mekuria went above and beyond to make sure that I received the care that I needed. If I could give this practice more than 5 stars I would.

She really helped my mother and made sure the blockages in her heart were taken care of, she was so quick to take care of everything. She said it we would've waited any longer she would've needed open heart surgery. This woman is amazing.
