I miss Dr Pershman. I wish I could find him being he is no longer with escension. Makes me very sad.
He listened to me and has always been the mist prompt Dr I've ever had.

My doctor made me cry. He was speaking to me very rude and he also made me feel as if I was lying about my health. Like I had no rights to what I go through or opinions of my health. He basically was telling me what I feel and that was deeply wrong. My last two doctors have made me feel little and I leave there most of my visits in tears. I hate this doctors office. They don’t treat me fair or with dignity and respect. No doctor should make a patient feel as if their feelings are invalid or that they have to defend their health. My legs hurt a lot and they sometimes become swollen and my doctor said he won’t help me with it. Accused me of having health problems that I have never even had. For example he said I may have heart or high blood pressure issues and I don’t and never have. Most of the time I feel that I’m being talked down on and that’s humiliating for me. I want to switch offices but I can’t because of state rules. I really felt like never coming back this time and just suffer through my pain. It’s too much to be treated like this without any empathy or emotional care from both of them. 1st time meeting him and I left broken down emotionally. He should not be in medical care .

I started seeing doctors through Ascension in 2001 when it was called Wheaton. The beginning of September made 34 years that I have been living with pain every day. Since 2002 my pain had been managed well. In 2012 I switched pain pills and started taking something more effective. Since then my dose has not changed. In June I was taking off most of my pain meds and I hurt so bad. Now I have to decide if my pain is bad enough or if I can deal with it. I am now being told the dosage has to be something that the DEA agrees with. Where is the quality of life in that?

Very nice dr office to be at. I enjoy meeting with my new Dr and things are going quite well. This is my 4th visit like him.
