Central Coast Music has an interesting historical past. If you wanted to catch a vaudeville show in the early 1900s, this is where you’d want to go. And you can still see the original stage where vaudeville actors would mesmerize you with their special brand of entertainment.

Fast forward to the present, and I took the first drum lesson in about 20 years. Curtis, my affable, experienced, encouraging, and patient instructor was cool, and easy to work with.

If you’re interested in guitars, Central Coast Music has a lot of them, and plenty of one-of-a-kinds.

They also have an eclectic collection of vinyl records you might be interested in if you have a working turntable.

This is what a musical instrument store should be like. Eddie is very welcoming and invites everyone to pick up and play any instrument in the store. It's more like visiting an old friend than dealing with a retail atmosphere. Always end up stopping in every time I am in the area.
Oh yeah, I have bought many guitars and basses there. Keep it up, I am coming back soon!

I visited this store with my daughter. Eddie went out of his way and made my band student so happy. He even lit up when he saw how happy she was. This store now has customers for life. And the store itself is amazing. It was larger than I thought and we came in to two people playing on the guitars and everywhere there was music.

Such a comfortable place to go and test guitars, amps, and mics, Upon entering you are greeted with a big smile, a warm hello, and a warm statement of please feel free to try out anything you like, and If you need any help , just ask and I will help you any way I can. The inventory is large, the string department carries Ernie Ball, Martin, diadario, earth wood, bass strings, and I believe mandolin strings, and sets for 12 string guitars . They have a large selection of guitars, Gibson, fender, vintage, Luna, both solid body, hollow body classical, and steel string, ukuleles , bass guitars, both bass, and electric guitar amps, mics of all prices from top end to beginning level , picks, cables for speakers, or guitars, power amps to buy or rent, speaker cabinets, hand drums, full drum sets, sticks, guitar cases, new and used equipment of all brands, qsc amps, crown, mackie, and they also rent out full sound systems from 8 channels, to 32 channels. I just bought a Peavey classic 30 all tube tweed amp yesterday and it was a warm and friendly experience. The owner Ed told me to pick out any guitar and play thru it and take as long as I wanted to make sure it would work for me, he offered me to use any pedals he had in stock If I wanted to check out the sounds I was looking for. I noticed that 80 percent of the customers that came in were repeat customers, or friends who knew Ed personally. They also carry used CD,s and vinyl records. What a warm family feeling shopping there, and Eds knowledge of music, guitars, amps and equipment is very noticable, I believe he also is a life long musician, and plays In a band named The Killer Hornets, If you are a musician who is new to the area, check his store out, you will enter a stranger and leave as a friend!!!
